This is our travel diary. We are Josh Crupi and Eric Jong, recent photojournalism graduates from Australia. We decided to come to Nepal to work with SathSath teaching street children photography, and to find stories to document and share.

National Democracy Day.
Across from the field where we were playing soccer, a parade was being held behind a heavy guard and barbwire for National Democracy Day.
I think that the actual seating was reserved for military and official types, anyone else who wanted to see the spectacle had to wait in the same area where the marchers where marshaling. Most people milled around for a bit, sat, maybe had a smoke or two and left.

My Life My Vision: Saroj
Some images from Saroj who participated in the My Life My Vision program with Ben Gough. He is now with SathSath doing field work with street children. These images are from a soccer team that he is coaching (a mix of children from schools in the district and street children). The game was meant to be between two groups, with the winner representing SathSath in an upcoming under 14s tournament. When the other team didn't show up, we played a friendly game together.
